Milestones in the development of the company
1966 | The company was founded by Heinz Meissner on 1st April 1966. In the first years, pump float switches for the company Jung, boat energy boxes and measuring instruments for the company Hella, as well as motor protection switches for the company Condor were built among other products. |
1987 | Entry into the automotive sector. On the production premises in Gütersloh and Friedrichsdorf, cables were manufactured for Reinshagen, VDO, Fichtel & Sachs and controls for air conditioning in buses were produced. The cooperation with Fuba (Delphi) and various glass manufacturers generated a new dynamic. |
1994 | Change of legal form to the Heinz Meissner KG |
2000 | Move to the new building at the Westfalenweg in Verl |
2004 | First certification according to ISO TS 16949 |
2008 | First certification according to DIN ISO 14001 |
2009 | Change of legal form to the Elektrobau Heinz Meissner GmbH & Co. KG |
2011 | Expansion of the production hall by 300 square metres |
2015 | Expansion through the purchase of a 400 m2 hall in the neighbouring Titanweg |
